Policies
Many organisations are concerned about their legal position in having certain
policies and procedures in place. Even if it is not a legal requirement it is often
good practice to have them.
We have sample policy documents that can be used and adapted for your organisation
and we are happy to look at these with you and ensure that you have the correct ones
in place.
Sample policies are:
- Constitutions
- Company Limited By Guarantee
- Equal Opportunities
- Health & Safety
- Risk Assessment
- Grievance
- Discipline
- Suggestions/Complaints
- Maternity, Paternity & Parental Leave
- Child Protection
- Vulnerable People
- Secure Handling, Use and Storage
- Recruitment of ex offenders
- Disclosure
If you would like to obtain a copy of any of the above policies or would like to
discuss what is right for your organisation, please email us at
elvon@scvo.org.uk.
Employing Staff?
If your organisation is growing it may come to the point where you are looking at
the possibility of employing or taking on additional staff.
ELVON are able to assist you with this process. We can do all the administration
processes for you, including drawing up and placing the advert, sending out and
receiving back the application forms and arranging the interviews. We can also work
with you in the issuing of the contract of employment and ensuring you have the correct
policies in place. For further information on this, please contact
James Bruce.
