Social Enterprise

In July 2005, the East Lothian Social Economy Partnership (ELSEP) was established to help support the development of Social Enterprise Organisations in East Lothian.

It currently has representatives from:

  • East Lothian Council
  • ELVON
  • Communities Scotland
  • Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh & Lothian
  • East Lothian Business Association

It is proposed that this group will be expanded.

Shortly after the setting up of the Partnership a report mapping the sector in East Lothian, funded through the European EQUAL programme, was completed which provided the basis of our Action Plan for 2006 to 2011. These documents can be downloaded.
