Children In Need

ELVON was once again successful in receiving a grant from BBC Children-In-Need to distribute to individual children whose families are on low income.

The grant awarded was £7,300 and applications for grants come into us from a wide variety of agencies, including Health Visitors, Social Workers, East Lothian Women’s Aid, First Step and others as appropriate.

Applications had to meet the specified criteria and all referral agents had to complete a Grant Report Form to confirm how the Grant was spent.

Our last grant enabled us to award 212 individual grants.

All the money has now been allocated for this year.
